Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I Love you, thanks for understanding me!!
Was born in Bronx, New York and started attending church at the age of 5. Minister Lively was baptized at the age of ten at Cypress Avenue Baptist Church. She was later baptized under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Franklin Sr. October 17, 2015.
In her words “In my earlier adult years I would rip and run, doing what I wanted to do how I wanted to do it. I was told once by my mentor Minister Joyce Riley, “I was a hard rock to crack” and I was! “Who would have thought God would have chosen me?” But In hind sight, I knew at an early age that I was. Life takes you through twist and turns and it sometimes takes a tragic event to be the turning point. That event was the loss of my daughter. I was so upset and so angry at “GOD”. Yet, somehow “HE’ took that pain and showed me the purpose in it. This pain has turned into my ministry.
I have faithfully served under the Leadership of Pastor Anthony Franklin Sr. teaching Sunday school, as a Lead Ambassador, Head of Hospitality and Beautification of the church, and Lead Ambassador of the Usher Ministry. Minister Lively is married to Lead Ambassador William Lively for over twenty years. She is the mother of one, the grandmother of five, and the great-grandmother of one.
Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 which states: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “MY TIME IS NOW”!
Born of the Late Mervin Mayo Sr. and Erginee Mayo. My older brother name is Linwood. I have a younger brother, Jermaine, and a younger sister, Meokie. I have one son, Mervin D Mayo lll and 2 beautiful daughters, Milan Mayo and Nyla Mitchell.
I began playing the piano and singing at the age of 13 at 4thBaptist Church and singing periodically at my mother’s Church, New Kingdom Christian Ministries, but never actually joined. I met my wife, Mechelle Cheniece Mayo, while I was regularly attending NKCM. Mechelle and I were married in less than a year because she was beautiful inside and out and everything I ever wanted. I knew after the 1st date that she was going to be my wife. She also ate my cooking without any seasonings her first time over.
Eventually, we started attending Emmanuel Worship Center which was closer to my home, There, I took on the roll as a musician, playing for the Men’s Chorus and Children’s choir. It was at this Church that I wanted to get a proper baptism, fully knowing what it represented. My son and I were both baptized on the same day. I was at EWC for about 3 years when God finally spoke to me in a dream and He told me to tell people of His goodness by preaching and not just singing. I dismissed this dream for several years because that's not what I wanted to do. I WANTED TO SING!!!. I continued to hear and ignore this voice periodically for years. Eventually I ran into Pastor Anthony Franklin at work, whom I really didn't know, and He asked me to help the music ministry out for a little bit until He finds a piano player. I agreed to help, but I explained to Him that I wasn’t interested in a permanent position. Well, I agreed to help the ministry but I didn’t show up the first day, in hopes that He would reconsider His offer. I was running from commitment again. Pastor called me on that Sunday and asked if I was coming, of course I said "Oh I thought I was starting next Sunday" Pastor Franklin said "Well I guess Ill see you next Sunday than!!" long story short, I played for a little over a year at TRP, now Truth Ministries, before that voice came to me in a dream telling me to preach Gods Word. I began to speak to God and be obedient. That following, Sunday Pastor Franklin asked for those that have been called to be elevated in ministry to stand up. As bad as I wanted to stay seated, I had already told God Yes and I wanted to be obedient. "Yes" I am Minister Mervin Doronn Mayo Jr. Since my elevation, I have grown so much closer to God. I have been called to preach at numerous funerals and church services. My work in this Ministry is just beginning, and I look forward to Teaching and Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When I get weary I lean on this scripture, John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
